Where'd You Go, Ken?

I wanted to hop on here so I could do an in-depth update with you guys.

I've been on the sidelines as it relates to social media because I've been working really hard behind the scenes on a few exciting projects. Some of which I can finally announce this coming month, yay!

On top of that we are headed back to America soon, give or take a few weeks to a few days, I have begun to pack my bags and organize my apartment here.

The biggest challenge when you're in transition is keeping everything together. Things can get hectic fast, so you'll need to move slow.

Have you ever recognized the tendency to forger if you unplugged your curling iron or locked the car door? Do those instances usually occur when you are rushing?

This reasoning is because our minds actually like being intentional.

When you slow down, you're able to move with more intentionality and precision.

This especially rings true with children. Every time we have to go on an international trip with tiny humans, it just increases my anxieties a bit.

Taking my time to pack, donate and triple + double-check stuff is where it's at.

I have a brand new home in America that I can't wait to organize and set up perfectly. So in my mind, I'm there already, lol.

While I was gone, I had The Neat Method come by and organize my master closet. Which made me very happy, and my brain was singing for joy, looking at the photos VIA email.

I need to now tackle all the common areas. I want to try the kitchen myself, which will probably end in a long day at the container store.

I’ll finish the children’s rooms next & then move on to the large living spaces.

Get ready for some Black Family vlogs of me organizing!
